We are looking for a Brand Director for an established fashion brand in Belgium.
Our client, is an established Belgian fashion brand and part of a large Fashion Group. This group is the
European leader in their niche. Having multiple brands in various EU countries, the group has a yearly
turnover over € 700 mio and over 175 point of sales across Europe, alongside successful online stores.
One of their brands (our client) is a Belgian fashion company that goes back almost one hundred years.
During the “golden” 60’s” the brand shifted to boutique clothing. In those days, people’s fashion options
were limited to either the (highly expensive) couture houses or the high street brands. More lively than
ever, the brand is ready to grow exponentially the coming years. For this mission, Mentorprise is looking
for a Brand Director to join the Board.
Position of International Brand Director
Mentorprise is looking for an experienced Brand Director for our client. The company is rapidly growing
in Belgium and throughout many European countries the coming years.
For this key-position, we are looking for senior talent with the right experience and knowledge,
preferably within the branches “Fashion” and/or “Design” and/or “FMCG”. In addition to the right
experience, we are also searching for a strong manager with the right people management and EQ-skills.
The world is our search field when looking for the best candidate, however a prominent knowledge of
English is mandatory, aside from working and living in Belgium (Flanders). As Brand Director you will
become part of the Belgian Board and you will become the inspirer, leader and brand-keeper of
company.

Role
Responsibilities:
- You will work at all levels and departments of the organization to discover the company DNA and to make it your own.
- You will oversee the design of the collections so that the vision is consistently guarded and preserved.
- You lead the teams that develop collections and visual concepts and you oversee the entire creative process. You will take the lead during brainstorming sessions while guarding the company DNA.
- You have the ability to inspire the design and creative teams so they give their best in line with our brand.
- You ensure that the existing brand book is implemented in all campaigns.

- You have the necessary skills in the field of computer graphics, illustration and sketching to write down your ideas clearly
- You are fluent in English
- Knowledge of Dutch, French or German are of added value
